Whew .... it's been a LONG week!!
Ok, so I'm going to jump right in and let you know why I joined eHarmony . I wanted the opportunity to meet more Christian men, who truly love the Lord and want to live for His glory. I am finding that I am enjoying the process of getting to know these guys. I am however not in any rush to meet these guys in person. There will be some safety measures that will be in place before that happens. I am in the process of getting my license to carry as we speak ... just kidding!!
Let me ask you this ... what do you think the odds are that one would be matched with someone they know? Well, it's happen to me ... twice! Ha. Can we say awkward? Only me. But I have to admit that it has given some validity to the site (because they are great guys) and has confirmed that they do honor your requests.
Since I have to work tomorrow morning I'm going to keep this brief but let me offer you a few ideas of what not to do when you are developing your profile ... A) Don't be arrogant in your remarks about yourself and then say "I'm not being cocky but ..." B) Always check your spelling ... it's passed not pasted. Grammar and punctuation are appreciated. C) It's ok to ask the awkward questions like "most guys add half an inch to two inches to their height ... are you really 5'7?" (Yep, I asked that.) And remember to have fun but be honest. Most people aren't into playing games.
