Just a few thoughts ...
Why are we so quick as a society to throw out the words "I love you" to people and about things? Why are we so lazy in our view of it? When did those words lose their sacred meaning?
I believe there should be a reverence to those words not something that you use to manipulate others to get what you want. In the old movies those words weren't spoken until they were meant, until a commitment was ready to be made. It saddens me that society has become so lazy in regards to love. Within days of knowing someone people blurt their feelings & how many of us speak of our love for our material possessions?
I will not succumb to the "I said I love you after knowing you for a few weeks so that should count for something" attitude. I'd be bored if I did. Where's the excitement in that? :-) I am resolved to wait until it is real and has meaning.
But just so you know ... I love you all!!
