I've had so many thoughts rolling around in my head & my heart over the last week that I thought I'd share them with you ... still seeking the answers & the applications ...
• The grass is always greener where you water it. (overheard this one)
• "Not all change is pleasant, but when we are being led to a better place by Someone who loves us, we don't need to fear." - Julie Ackerman Link
• Sometimes the wounds we receive at the hands of our friends are the same weapons we use on others. There is something seriously wrong with that.
• Why is it that the very things I find offensive in others tends to be the greatest offense I need to work on in my life?
• "When you forget yourself, you usually start doing something others will remember." - Our Daily Bread
• "You want a man that walks with God, and lives it. Whatever disrespect he shows in dating, marriage will more than likely be worse. You have to find someone that's worth sharing a lifetime, thick and thin." - A Wise Friend -
.... and I'd take it one step further & say that the same applies in your casual friendships with the opposite sex. If there is a lack of respect in your friendship why will that change in a relationship? With that being said and thoughts of dating relationships put aside ... how am I being disrespectful to my guy friends? What do I need to change?
• Sometimes the implications of the applications keeps me from doing what I know I need to do.
I'm thankful for a patient Savior who showers me with grace & mercy each day and forgives what I struggle to forget.
Be Blessed ....
