Romans 8:28

Have you ever had that moment where you know the Lord gave you a verse? I mean spoke it into your life right when you needed it to the point that it almost takes your breath away? Well that was what happened for me six years ago today. I was 22 years old & having a rough time. I'm pretty sure it had to do with a boy, dreams unfulfilled and/or the Lord not meeting my timeline. :) But I was hurting ... deeply hurting and had cried out to the Lord to show me He had heard me ... that He was listening ... that He cared. To make a long story short He gave me Romans 8:28 that night & three more times in the next 24 hours. Since that day He has given it to me at "random" times and it continues to serve as a reminder that He loves me and understands. 

The last few weeks have been a struggle & I'm not really sure why. So as I seek to work through this "growing pain" I am blessed to reflect on how He has answered prayers and met me in my moments of need. Below is the precious verse He gave me and two songs that have really spoken to me over the last few days.
